Continuing with GT-R theme here is another Godzilla spotted in the wild.  This one has a full wide aerokit coupled with ADV.1 wheels and huge wing.

Car Spotting In Brunei - Nissan GT-R (MY12)

A dark blue Godzilla had been located near the Jalan Berangang in Bandar.  I spotted this very stock GT-R while picking my kids from Chung Hwa Middle School.  This is the MY12 model as seen from the updated front DRL in the bumper.  GT-R has become cheap to buy in recent year.  One can pick up a MY09 from around 85K!  Problem is it's very expensive to maintains a GT-R.  Or else I would had bought one without any thought!  Hopefully as time flies parts get cheaper I might be able to put one in my garage.

New Car In Brunei - KIA Cerato Koup Turbo

The KIA Cerato Coup Turbo has finally landed in Brunei.  This is the first time a turbo version Coup is make available in Brunei.  The 1.6 T-GDI(Gasoline Direct Injection) turbo makes 201hp to the front wheels.  It comes with 6 speed manual! Or 7 speed Dual Clutch!!!  You can tell the differences from non-Turbo and Turbo from the twin exhaust pipes sticking out of the rear bumper.  Interior gets the full leather with red accent treatment. The price should be BND$35K~BND$39K.  A real bargain if you ask me!

Holly molly, if this came out 2 years ago I would definitely recommended my family member to get this over the non-turbo version.  201hp doesn't sound much as compare to German cars but please remember his car is pretty light and the Nissan S14 only has 200hp when it was first launched!

Car Spotting In Brunei - Lexus RC-F

The last post I posted a very luxury Lexus RC350 with aero-kit.  Today I give you the big daddy of the RC range, the RC-F.  The "F" is for Fuji Speedway where Lexus test all their cars.  Fuji Speedway is also fully owned by Toyota, mother company of LEXUS in case you didn't know that.  

This one is the ultimate machine from the RC series with a very powerful V8 engine making 477hp.  You can tell the hood is different to the one I posted earlier.  A very visible air vent can be seen here.  I am not sure about the price for RC-F  but it should be around BND160K~170K range to compete with the C63 and M4.

Car Spotting In Brunei - Lexus RC350

I spotted this beautiful Lexus RC350 at Jalan Berangang at Bandar.  What caught my eye is this particular unit is fitted with aero-kit, not sure about the brand of the kit. My apologise I only managed to take a picture of the front with the lower lip.

This is possibly the one and only Pagani Huayra in Borneo Island.  It belongs to our beloved Crown Prince of Brunei.  This car is a scene to behold.  I had encountered it multiple times and always wind-down my window and appreciate the turbo-charged V12 noise zooming pass me!

Car Spottin In Brunei - Aston Martin V8 Vantage (MY09)

Thanks again to AxtelWong for sharing this picture he took recently.  This is the Aston Martin V8 Vantage.  It has a 4.7litre V8 engine that produced 420hp with 0-60mph in 4.7sec! 

Not sure this is the manual transmission model or the AM Sportshift Transmission.

Friends Rides - Porsche 911 Targa 2 (964)

This black beauty belong to a good friend of mine.  In case you are living under the rock Porsche air-cooled models are highly sorted around the world and are actually appreciating in value especially the 964 and 993.  

My friend is trying to finalise some small issues with the engine and once it is done I will be taking it out for a spin!  Can't wait to try my very first rear engine, rear wheel air-cooled Porsche!

 

Car Spotting In Brunei - Audi TT

Three years ago I saw this beautiful ride at AUDI Showroom at Beribi.  Today I get to see it again at Kiulap.  What a beautiful car it is.  The color might not be everyone taste but the different bumpers and spoiler sure have it stand out of the crowd!

Car Articles - KUHL Racing Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R/GT-T

What do you guys think of this aftermarket performance aerokit from KUHL RACING from Japan.  Last year KUHL RACING presented a gold engraved Nissan GT-R R35 and won the 2015 Tokyo Auto Salon Custom Car Contest.  This year in 2016 they decided to transform the R34 as you can see here.  The kit can be fitted to both R34 GT-R and R34 GT-T.  Not sure about the price but it got my heart pumping to swap a new kit for my aging GT-T.  What do you guys think?

Car Articles - KIA STINGER

The KIA Stinger finally here ladies and gentlemen! I had been following this model from its conceptual design in 2013 to full production model as seen here!

This is KIA take to compete with the BMW 4 Series.  Just look at it!  My jaw literally dropped when I saw the video on Youtube.  If you didn't know I am a big fans of KIA models.  I really love their take on design to compete with the top.   If you look at it the car also screams tons of design cue from the Germans.  There is a bit of Mercedes, BMW and Porsche in it.  The interior at one glance you would had thought it is a Mercedes Benz model interior. LOL!

There are two engine choices, a 255hp 2.0litre 4 bangers and the almighty 3.3 V6 with 365hp that sprint from nor to 62mph (100km/hr) in 5.1 sec!  That is the same time as my Porsche Boxster S!

 

So the big question here is, will it come to Brunei?  I certainly hope so but there are several models from KIA which are not sold in Brunei.  Hopefully KIA Brunei will see the potential of this model and bring in to compete with the Germans.  As for the price I am guessing around BND50K to BND60K.

 

Car Spotting In Brunei - Porsche 911 Carrera (997.1)

This is the Porsche 911 Carrera S (997.1).  This model is quite rare to spot in Brunei as there is not many 997.1 in Brunei.  My guess is probably 5-8 units exist in Brunei.  This one here is a "S" model because I noticed the red caliper from the picture.  Non-S model caliper is usually painted in black colors.

A Ferrari 458 has been spotted in Jerudong Park by AxtelWong.   I love how the car is slightly tinted on the windows to contrast the bright red with added small details from the yellow caliper!

Car Spotting In Brunei - Chevrolet Camaro SS "Transformers Edition"

LetS kick off the new year with something very bright!  This is the Chevy Camaro SS Transformers Edition.  The one and only RHD in Brunei and possibly in the whole of South East Asia.  I had seen Camaro in Malaysia but those were LHD. This example is a private import.

RHD is VERY rare becasue Chevolet does not manufacturer RHD Camaro officially.  This one here required a full modification of the steering from the left to the right side by a third party usually in Australia, New Zealand or Thailand.  

In the USA, the Transformer Edition will cost you additional USD$1000 on top of the normal "SS" retail price.  It comes with Autobot badge on the side fenders and center wheels caps.  When you step into the interior you will also be greeted by the Transformers logo on the door sills and the center arm rest. Last but not least is the center glossy strips from the front hood to the rear boot to resemble Bumblebee from the box office movie "Transformers".

As this is the "SS" model as shown on the above picture, it means it has the 400hp V8 under the hood.  Not sure this is a MT or AT.  The car is also fitted with extra aero-kit.  If you must ask, NO the car do not transform.
