Daihatsu Is SOLD!!!

Good morning readers, sorry for not posting as regular as before.  Will try to update my post at least once a week from now on.

My Daihatsu Materia is finally sold!!!  Yesterday, one of my friend came to  viewed the car and immediately confirmed it.  I am happy and also sad at the same time that the car is leaving me.  Anyway, hope my Daihatsu Materia with my current mods will have a great new owner in the future!!

Project M - Front Lip Painted!

Hi Readers!  Today I would like to show you Project : M Front lip that was recently painted and installed!

Remember I imported this front lip from HK last December?  The plan was to use it on a more bigger project for the front facial of Materia.  Now that the car is up for sale I have no more plan to change the front facial, so I decided to have the lip painted instead of leaving in lying around.

 

I really likes the look of the new front bumper.  It is more in-line with the standard side skirt and the recently installed spoiler.

 

In case you are wondering, Yes that front lip is also suitable for Toyota Bb!

Wheels Bolts for Daihatsu Materia and Nissan ER34

Good evening readers!  You are looking at D1 Spec Racing Nuts that came together with my Project : M Front lip and Project N.E.S II Side skirts.   I bought 2 different sets, one for Project : M and the other for Re-Fresh ER34.   

 

This set below is for Nissan Skyline ER34.  The differences between this and the one for Daihatsu Materia is the mounting spec.  The original mounting spec for Nissan ER34 is P1.25 .

This set is for Project : M and is the mounting spec is P1.5.  I am planning a 16" or 17" Matt black wheels for Project : M so this anodized red will come in handy when contrasting the new wheels.

Project : M - Front Lip

Good day everyone!  What you looking at here is the Daihatsu Materia front lip that was imported together with the Project : N.E.S.II Boxster S side skirts from HK.

This is just the first piece of bodykit for PROJECT : M as  I have more plans for the whole overall car looks in the coming months.   So do come back to read more about it!

Project : M In-Car-Entertainment(I.C.E) Completed!

Good morning Ladies and Gentlemen,  today I would like to show you the newly completed I.C.E for Project:M.  Everything you see here is installed at AutoSmart at Serusop.

KENWOOD DDX-418, 2-Din player that I bought online

 

Overall I would give this player 4/5.  The interface is not as cool as the Pioneer that was installed in my ER34.  Sound quality wise, I will give it a 4.5/5

PROJECT : M - Water Temp Gauge?

Hellow my Readers!  As you know I.C.E of PROJECT:M is now completed.  The next step now for me is to show some pictures and of course plan out what to do next on the car.  

But before I get into that, I would like to talk about my Water Temp gauge.  Well, there is no gauge in the car.  I have no idea or indicator of how cold or hot the radiator is.   So, I plan to install a Water Temp gauge for PROJECT:M

Remember the 52mm Prosport Water Temp Gauge that I bought for ER34?  Well, it is still lying inside my store waiting for installation. LOL.  Was busy with Project:M and totally forgot there are still two more gauges that needed to be installed in ER34

So I took one of the gauge and trial fitted near the steering column.  I had a few spot where I want the gauge to be fitted.  One of them is right on top of the steering column or the other choice is to drill a hole on the dash u see below,  and fitted in there.  What do you guys think?

 

PROJECT : M - OEM Spoiler Installed!

Yes!  Spoiler is up and ready for some down force!  LOL, as if the car can travel more than 180km/hr.  Well here it is, installed by my favorite accessories center, AUTOSMART at Serusop. 

Yeah that is the current register number,  I didn't black out the pic because it is for temporary time only. Incase you didn't know, AUTOSMART now cater for bodykits as well.  They even have their own OVEN ROOM for full car painting!

Here it is, the original CD player from the factory

This player is made by PIONEER, I am quite surprise as I do know Toyota do have their own I.C.E company that handle original equipped car.

Secondly, look how cheap these speakers are!  LOL

I believe this set is from the the front....

 

.....and weight around 450gram.  So so la for a cheap speaker

  

These I strongly believe belong to the rear,  Why?  Look how freaking small the magnet is!!!!  I was so shocked to find such a super cheap speaker installed at both rear doors.  The magnet is about the size of Brunei 50cents!  LOL, yes I am not kidding you!

And the best part is it weight only 200gram!  You know how freaking light that is?  Rougly the weight of 1~2 KIT-KAT chocolate bars.  LOL

 These are the front tweeters, nothing major here....

So now you had seen the original equipments taken out from the car, which means all the after-market I.C.E for PROJECT:M had already been installed into the car!!!

PROJECT : M - Sub and Amp

Good morning!  Readers might notice that I had been updating PROJECT : M very regularly.  The main reason for that is the car will be send to AUTOSMART for the I.C.E installation on Thursday this week.

What will be done at AUTOSMART for Project : M ? Check the lists below:-

• Kenwood DDX-418 Double Din
• MTX Speakers Front & Rear
• Reverse Camera
• and lastly the Sub-woofer and Amp you are looking at below!

 Look familiar?  Yeap these are taken from my Nissan Skyline ER34.  Ever since the completion of interior of RE-FRESH ER34,  they had been lying around at my storeroom for quite sometimes.  So I decided to install these into PROJECT:M.  No point getting another new sub and amp as I am planning a bigger things for PROJECT:M exterior!

Can you believe these two items are 10 years old! LOL

Given the restriction of boot space, the Kenwood mono-amp will be fitted underneath the driver's side seat for that stealthy installation
