Jaguar F-Type Coupe Has Landed In Brunei!

Last month, my family were invited to the launching of Jaguar F-Type Coupe at Empire Hotel.  Well, nobody bother to attend the invitation and they only bother to mention that to me at the very last min or else I would have attend.  LOL.  Anyway, Jaguar Sales rep, Saiful, sent me these photos a few days ago.  I have to say I am lost for words on the Coupe Version. I have yet to see the real thing but judging at the photos alone makes me want to fly over to Jaguar showroom and deposit one for myself.  Well, sadly those are just dream as I have two more car loan commitments to finish off before I can buy another ride.

The price for this beautiful red beast is BND$145K O.T.R.   Yeap you are reading it correctly!  Got to be the most affordable European sports car coupe in Brunei at the moment. This red color is the V6 model.  I am not sure about the V6"S" and V8 "R" Coupe pricing as I didn't bother asking because I know it will be way more then what I can afford.  Engine specification are almost identical to that of the roadsters, 340hp and 380hp for V6 and V6"S".  F-Type Coupe R has 550hp compared to F-Type 495hp but shared the same V8 engine.

I will check out Indera Motors very soon to take a closer look at this beauty personally.  Will post more photos soon!

Jaguar F-Type Pricing in Brunei

Morning Peeps, Yes I know you read seen these cars in my older posts when it first landed in Brunei.  It was the white beauty parked outside the Jaguar showroom.  But today I would like to show you two different colors on displayed inside Jaguar Showroom.  

You are looking at Jaguar F-Type V6(Black) and F-Type V6"S"(Grey).  The best part is I finally get to sit behind the wheel!  It was such an awesome car.  I like the quality, and the material used inside the cabin.  So luxury and sporty at the same time!  Wait till you hear about the price tag! Brunei pricing for these two beasts are BND $130K++ for the V6(Black) and BND $160K++ for the V6"S"(Grey).  Both price quoted are O.T.R prices.  

V6 has an identical engine as the V6"S" but produced 40hp less and of course they have different specifications between each other.  If my memory can recall,  Brunei market V6 comes with smaller wheels as standard.  The black one shown here has an upgraded option wheels.  The interior options are more or less identical but does come with different sport seats and  different leather materials.  I am so digging this F-Type, it has to be the most beautiful roadster currently available in Brunei.  I hardly see any running around just yet in Brunei road.

I was told the "Active Exhausts" is so intoxicating to listen to every time you start and rev the V6 engine! Got to have those activate every time you drive this car!

Jaguar F-Type is here in Brunei!

Today I took my family to Indera Motor showroom in Berakas to check out their Jaguar and Range-Rover range.  A question pop into my head when I was in the showroom.  "Do you have the F-Type?" I asked because there wasn't any in the showroom.  And the salesman, Saiful replied "Yes we do!"  I was surprised and Mr.Saiful show us around the back of the showroom and two very beautiful F-type greeted us!

The white color shown here is F-Type V6 "S" and the black one is F-Type V8 "S".  V6 "S" model is supercharged with 380hp and the R model is V8 "S" is pure muscle from UK pumping out 495hp!  Price is not confirm yet but I was told for V6 "S" prices will be around BND190k and BND250k for the V8 model.  There is also a base model called the F-Type V6 which they will be bringing in too in the future.

This Jaguar F-Type is by far one of the most beautiful sports car I have ever seen!  It has such a perfect shape!  Would really like one in my garage. LOL! Can't wait for the coupe version to come to Brunei soon!

 

Visit to Indera Motors Showroom

Today I pay a visit to a new showroom in town called INDERA MOTORS.  This new company is now currently the authorised distributor of Jaguar & Range Rover in BRUNEI!  Jaguar has been absent in Brunei scene for quite sometime and was last imported by Premier Motors whereas  Range Rover last owner was QAF Motors(yes the same company that owned BMW, MINI & PORSCHE).

When I walked into the showroom, this hot red Jaguar XFR stood out from the whole showroom floor.  This is one of the top range XF with V8 Supercharged!  The engine produced a raw 500hp capable of flying off the 0-100km/hr mark in less then 5 secs!  Price is estimated to be BND198,000.

The XF below is the normal version which is fitted with 3.0 V6 engine. Estimated price is around BND$100,000

This black cat below is the new Jaguar XJ, the largest Jaggggggg in the range.  I was told it is fitted with 2.0L 4cyclinder engine!!@#  First thing came into my mind was WTF is a 2.0 doing in such a big car???  Seriously come on,  even though it is turbo-charged, the 4 bangers might have trouble hauling this big cat(in my opinion).

My first encounter with a full LCD instrumental cluster!  It was so cool to see the screen when you started the engine.  Having the privilege to own and drive so many luxury cars in my life I have to say my first time sitting inside a Jaguar is sure as impressive as the first time I sat in my family S-Class and 7 Series.  Opening a Jaguar door is also quite a feat because it is very solid and yes the feel is heavy! LOL

This is the only Range Rover available in the showroom.  I was told the rest of the range will be arriving later in the year.  This silver EVOQUE is a diesel fitted engine.  Price is BND$109,000.  Not bad if you ask me, the car itself is loaded with options.

In case you didn't know, Jaguar owned Range Rover hence the sharing of the motorized pop-up gearknob.  Again, in case you didn't know, both are owned by Indian conglomerate, TATA Motors!
