Spotted - His Majesty Brabus 700!

Another close-up shots of our beloved Sultan's latest ride.  It turns out it was a BRABUS 700, not the BRABUS 800 I posted earlier.  I am not sure if this is the G63 or G65.  Will keep you guys posted when my friendly spotter send me a shot of the car from the rear!

New Car In Brunei - Mazda Miata / MX-5 (ND) **UPDATED WITH PRICE!

Mazda popular lightweight open-top sports car has finally landed in Brunei!  This is the fourth generation Miata or MX-5 that was recently launched worldwide.  I don't have much info on this car just yet but will pay a personal visit to Mazda soon to check out this ride.  Will update more with what spec has landed in the showroom~

New Car In Brunei - BMW i8 ***UPDATED!!!!!

A supercar has landed in Brunei!  The BMW i8 hybrid!!!  I am actually quite surprise to see this model entering to Brunei market given our fuel is so cheap. LOL.  Anyway I am not sure this belong to anyone or QAF is preparing to launch their new "i" product for BMW.  If so I am stoked to see the new i3.  Will update again when I visit QAF to service my BMW this coming days.

Car Spotting In Brunei - Lamborghini Escapa

An abandoned Lamborghini Espada has been left unfinish somewhere in a workshop in Brunei.  This photo was shared from a friend of mine.  I actually came across this photo a few years ago and it is quite sad to see it in this state.  Not sure who owns the car and judging from the looks of it I doubt they will get this car to restoration stage anytime soon.

This model have three series in its production life  from 1968 to 1978, Series I, II and III.  Only 1217 units were ever made.  It is a 2+2 grand coupe and is fitted with 4.0litre V12 engine with around 350hp. Here are some photos from the web of how the car actually looks in real life

New Car In Brunei - Chrysler 300 SRT

This is fresh off the boat today at GHK yard!  The facelifted Chrysler 300 SRT has landed in Brunei!  It has the same HEMI V8 6.4litre engine as my Jeep SRT.  Compare to the previous model this car is now fitted with the new ZF eight-speed automatic transmission with adjustable launch control.  Exterior also received a few updates with new front bumper fitted with new LED and DRL.  The rear also received new LED lights and a boot lid spoiler for down force.  Not sure about the price but the last model was selling for around BND$100K!  Given the rise in US Dollars I am sure this car won't be cheap!  But hey at least you have a cool SRT that even the American market aren't getting!

Big revised interior included the new steering wheel similar to all the SRT range. Instrumental cluster now comes with a LCD sitting between two new dials.  Semi leather and alcantara sports seats are for front and rear.

New Car In Brunei - AUDI RS6 Avant

Two beautiful AUDI RS6 Avant has landed at T.C.Y Motor, Audi official dealer in Brunei.  These car are fitted with the latest 4.0TFSI V8 Twin turbo that pumped out 560hp and  goes from 0-100km/hr in 3.9sec!  It is mated with an 8-speed tiptronic transmission and comes with AUDI Quattro drive-train as shown proudly at the front grille of both cars.  Naturally its competitor are the AMG E63 and BMW M3 Sedan so expect a price range of BND$200K and above!  I have not personally seen the car myself as these photos are shared from AUDI Brunei Facebook page.

Car Spotting In Brunei - HKS ZERO R (Nissan Skyline BNR32 GT-R)

This ladies and gentlemen is the famous HKS ZERO-R,  I took these photos personally at SHHProshop last week and this is the first time I am up-close and personal with this unique legendary car from HKS.   The car started out as a Nissan Skyline GTR R32 body shade that had been fully strip, reworked by HKS of Japan which in turn became the HKS ZERO-R.  I believe there are no more than  11 of this exist in the world.  And only a handful(2-4units) was sold.  The remaining unsold units were kept inside HKS garage. 

This particular ZERO-R come with 450hp when it was imported new to Brunei. Do not confuse with ZERO-R Ver.2 that HKS revisited and that has +500hp. The almighty RB26DETT in this car came fully modded with HKS catalogue goodies.  I couldn't find the proper details but it was the craziest mod you would want for your GTR R32.  

The car is fitted with full aero bodykits that differ from stock.   The most obvious modification is the relocation of fuel tank from the boot to the rear passenger seats! With fully customised tank sitting just behind the driver seats.

This car is awaiting for tuning this week and I was told it will have some serious HP!

Friends Ride - Porsche Boxster S (981)

Checking out my friends new ride, the Porsche Boxster S (981).  He recently had some Porsche stickers labelled all round so I took a quick tour to his office and took some quick snaps.  This car is loaded with Porsche Exclusive optional equipments such as full carbon fibre interior, leather upholstery and many more.
