Someone spotted a FIAT 695 Abarth Tributo Ferrari.  If memory serves me correctly, there are two of these in Brunei that belong to the same owner so correct me if I am wrong.   We used to have FIAT dealer a decade ago but the brand wasn't selling well and it was no longer imported.  With cool new models such Fiat 500, Fiat 500c, Fiat 500L and Panda, I hope someone will reboot this brand in Brunei.

New Car In Brunei - SsangYong TIVOLI

Have you seen the latest CUV from Korean maker SsangYong lately?  Its an awesome funky looking car!  I took a quick stroll to T.C.Y Motors to have a close look at the car this afternoon. The car we are speaking here is called TIVOLI.  One of the first car with newer modern design language from SsangYong.  I never like past SsangYong interpretation of car design but this model really hit the right spot.  As a matter of fact, this model is a hit as I have been seen a lot of people driving  this model in Brunei street.

The car comes in two specs, TIVOLI Standard and TIVOLI Deluxe.  Price is BND25K++ for Standard and BND30K++ for the later.  The differences are the interior and some minor exterior features.  You can have both models fitted with original bodykit for additional BND$1K++ and I highly recommended the bodykit.

TIVOLI is fitted with a 1.6 litre 4cyclinder engine that produced 128hp with 160Nm of torque.  It is matted with a 6speed A/T and comes in 2WD only.

Car Spotting In Brunei - Mercedes Benz AMG GT "S" Edition 1

Finally this car had been spotted roaming in Brunei!  The last time I was with a friend test driving the new S-Class, we were told the AMG GTS will be coming to Brunei around September this year.  It was a special order for a customer from Jati Transport, the sole agent of Mercedes-Benz in Brunei.

I was hoping to see the Sunburst Yellow body color but this matt black looks very good too!  I remember being told this car cost upward of BND$260,000+ depending on the options.  By the way this is a 510hp with a 4.0litre V8 twin-turbo engine and takes only 3.8sec to reach the 100km.hr mark.  This is Mercedes Benz take on to compete with the Porsche 911.  Hope to see this car in person soon.

Car Spotting In Brunei - 3rd Lamborghini Huracan

Third Huracan from the Lamborghini marque has landed in Brunei.  This color actually looks goods out of the three that has landed.  Congratulation to the new owner of the car!

New Car In Brunei - Jaguar XE

Jaguare XE will be officially launched in Brunei this week at Radisson Hotel in Bandar.  I took the picture above showing the "JAGUAR XE" signage outside Radisson Hotel.  I was told this is an invitation event only by BIBD and Indera Motors, the Jaguar dealer of Brunei.  

Jaguar XE is the direct competitior to BMW 3-Series, Mercedes Benz C-Class and Audi A4.  We should be expecting a price range of BND$60K to BND$70K.  I currently do not know what spec is reaching our shore but I am sure it will be a spec-up model as seen from their other ranges that has been sold in Brunei from Indera Motors.  Will keep you guys posted with more pictures when I visit the showroom at Berakas.

 

Car Spotting In Brunei - Lamborghini Aventador w/IPE Exhaust system

Remember this Lamborghini Aventador?  I last posted it here.  The owner of the workshop sent me these cool photos of it getting upgrade with an IPE Exhaust system. You can see the completed installation of this exhaust at SHH Pro Shop Brunei in Facebook! 

This is the first time I actually seen a stock Lamborghini exhaust system

V12 = 700hp!

Car Spotting In Brunei - Brunei 2nd Unit Porsche 911 (991) GT3

WOW!  Another unit of Porsche 911 GT3(991) has landed in Brunei and went straight for an upgraded IPE exhaust system at SHHPro Shop.  This is also the 2nd white GT3 in Brunei.  The owner of the workshop is kind enough to send me these photos and I am happy to share it for you readers. Enjoy!

A flock of stallions had been spotted some where in Brunei.  I am not sure where this place is but that four awesome Ferrari really stand out in the picture.  We are looking at (L to R) Ferrari 430 Scuderia, Ferrari F430, Ferrari 612 Scagletti and Ferrari 458.  From the license plate point of view, I am sure these four rides belong to the same person.  Hey buddy you got two thumbs-up from me for owning such an awesome fleet of Ferrari.
