I am surprised to see KITT in Brunei given this car was never exported outside USA. The car is based on Pontiac Trans-Am and popularised by 80s classic crime fighting TV Series called KNIGHT RIDER! The car was every 80s kids dream machine including myself. It also starred David Hasselhof as the main actor who piloted KITT to fight crime. KITT stands for "Knight Industry Two Thousand" in case you are wondering. I am not sure whose car this belong to but it is one cool ride.

1st Borneo Kustom Show 2016 - Part 1 : Blast from the Pasts!
Good afternoon readers! I just returned from "1st Borneo Kustom Show 2016" that is happening right now at BRIDEX, Jerudong! When I heard about the event I was a bit skeptical till I saw the flow of photos from the event coming in from social media. I said to myself I have to check it out in case I miss anything special!
The ticket cost $5 per day and the event kick off from 26th to 27th March. It will cost you $8 for two days events. Children under 12 years old will be charged for $2.00 only although my daughter got in for free! As this is the first time its being held it is a pretty big show in my opinion for Brunei standard! I cannot imagine the future show when people heard about the success from the 1st event!
The show has two sections, indoor and outdoor. Both sections comprised of cool custom cars and custom bikes. As for the custom cars it is classified into several groups. There are classic cars, JDM from both the past and modern era. There are also movie car and also several ultra rare supercar that did a quick drop in for photo session! I am not a bike guy but the bike that was displayed was pretty impressive!
OK, less talk and more photos!
This VW Beetle caught my attention. If you look closely the roof had been chopped! Looks like a "Rat-rod" ready for race!
This one is called the Rat Rob (or Mat Mob?).Looks mean enough for going offroad any time!
Cool old skool VeeDub Beetles
The engine are properly restored as well! I am impressed with some of the clean engine bay looks
I saw this Morris MINI a few months ago in Gadong but couldn't catch up to take some proper picture. Today finally I can stand up closed and personal with cool photos to share with you all. Although this car is not from Brunei, I believe the owner reside in Brunei.
Coolest MINI ever! Don't think I can fit in this car...LOL
Monte Carlo MINI anyone?

Car Spotting In Brunei - TVR Tuscan Speed Six
More photos taken by me way back in 2004 during a Carshow somewhere in Brunei. I don't really remember where but as you can see the above photo someone was selling EBC Brake pads in Brunei!!!!
The car you are looking at is TVR Tuscan Speed Six. This is the one and only unit in Brunei and last I checked the car has a minor accident and what happened after that is anyone guess. TVR has since bankrupted back in the 2012 but there are news flying around that it will be revive soon.
One unique thing about TVR car is that there are no door handle. Back when I was young I saw the TVR Speed 12 and was wondering where the heck the door handle was located. Same goes when you are inside the car, you will not be able to find the door knob for the first time because there are none! Go and google it and you will know what I mean!

Car Spotting In Brunei - Nissan Skyline GT-R (BNR32)
This ultra-rare 80s JDM classic was spotted by me way back in 2005! I believe this car has since changed hand and also has a new DO-LUCK aerokit fitted. Nissan Skyline R32 is one of my favorite JDM from the late 80s and sadly there are only so many in Brunei. I think there are less then 5 units of GT-R 32 in Brunei.

Car Spotting In Brunei - Maserati GHIBLI

The new Maserati Ghibli is finally in Brunei. This is a grey import as we currently do not have an official Maserati agent in Brunei. This is one handsome car in my opinion. The Ghibli is offered with three different 3.0-litre V6 engines: a
twin-turbocharged 330 hp or 400 hp
petrol and a 271 hp turbodiesel. All are fitted with 8-speed transmission.
It goes up against cars such as MB E-Class, BMW 5 Series and Audi A6. I remember back in Australia last year I saw an advert for the launching of Ghibli. A brand new Ghibli will start at AUD$169k++ in Australia, which is not too bad given we are talking about an Italian marque. The Ghibli is highly customisable just like Porsche. You can configure to your spec and the only things that is not gonna be happy will be your wallet. LOL
I wonder how much this owner pay for this ride......

Project Blue : Devil - ALTENZO Front Tyres
Just took my little Blue Devil to have both front tires replaced. The last brand that I used on MINI was NEXEN, it was not bad but tire tread doesn't last long. So I was recommeded to this new brand ALTENZO from China. It was highly recommended by a lot of my friends for the longivity and performance. It cost BND$80 for each 225/45 18".
After the replacement I took the car for a few days test drive and so far so good. The tires are quiet and does what its suppose to do. Let see how long this tires will last.
