A friend of mine just spotted this bright red Ferrari Califonia at Bandar near the Royal Brunei building. I have not seen a Califonia before as this are pretty rare in Brunei. Hope to see the new Califonia T in the future too!

New Car In Brunei - JEEP Renegade
Last Saturday was the launching of the new JEEP Renegade at GHK Motors. After sending my kids to music school I quickly pop by the showroom with my wife. Cool looking isn't it? Small SUV has never looked so manly. There is only one spec available and it will cost you BND$37K O.T.R. This hasa the 1.4 MultiAir turbocharged engine with 6 speed twin clutch. However it is 2WD instead of the 4WD. You can choose from it's wide range of different colors. This yellow unit will look good together with my Nissan and Porsche. LOL.
Car Show In Brunei - Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Pt.2
My buddy #axelwong just sent me these interior pictures of the Ferrari LaFerrari! He was lucky enough to take these photos as the door wasn't open for the public eye. It was a sight to behold (except for that bottle of water..lol). The car does have two tones interior. It has black and also kinda grayish color to contrast. Really loving this ride!
Here is the key to the LaFerrari
I literally laugh out loud when I received the picture for the Ford GT. Really didn't expect that but nevertheless an awesome car!
Newer Lamborghini key fob
Older Lamborghini keyfob
Even older Lamborghini keyfob from the Murchielago! (I was told)

Car Show In Brunei - Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah
Oh yes!!!! Finally I get to witness one of the holy hybrid trinity!!!! I was told there is a carshow near my area and it will feature another rare Ferrari LaFerrari. I told my wife I am not gonna miss this one, so after picking up my kids from music classes we immediately pop by Yayasan at Bandar for the event!
And here it is, the ultra rare LaFerrari in its glory form. I try to get more pictures but the sky wasn't too happy so only manage to spent about 10minutes with this car before the sky unleashed! What a view it is, I have never seen a Ferrari F50 or Enzo in my life although I did viewed a Ferrari F40 back when I was a teen. The level of details on the metallic white LaFerrari are impressive! Looking at a LaFerrari is like looking at a Unicorn in the wild. I am glad I can get to see one so close!
Don't expect a license plate as this is a private collection of a Royal Family member!
OMG! Check out that yellow BREMBO big ass calipers! The rear is as big as the one fitted in the front! Carbon fibre galore!
This is the one and only Ford GT in Brunei and yes it belongs to another Royal Family member which also happen to own the McLaren SLR below! Ford GT is appreciating in value at the moment. It is good to always know what type of car to invest in!
A very cool Matt black Lamborghini Aventador can be seen parked next to the LaFerrari. This ride belong to the same LaFerrari owner.
Check out that Royal Insignia! So cool!
My first time viewing the McLaren MP4-12C and Lamborghini Murchielago. Sadly, I couldn't get any closer due to the weather....
Lamborghini Huracan, looks pretty tame compared to the LaFerrari
Another rare car, the McLaren SLR! This is the same car that I had the privilege to sit back in the early 2000s
This show was alright in my opinion. Not as well organized as compared to the Borneo Kustom Show. I can see a lot of last minutes preparation for that event. There are more than 10 supercars at that events but I only took pictures on the rare models. The event also included a few local dealer showcasing their latest models. I was told there are several JDM rides but it was no where to be seen. Worst of all I don't even know what the event name is called. LOL. Hopefully Borneo Kustom Show can showcase more supercars in their next event.

Car Spotting In Brunei - Porsche 911 Turbo (993)
I spotted this rare and unique Porsche 911(993) at QAF Porsche. Why is it unique you say? Check out the interior. It has matching color as the exterior! Porsche will let you customize your own interior to suit your taste. The owner must had paid big bucks for that bright interior. Very good looking car indeed! My favorite model from the 911 range!

Cars Spotting In Brunei - Nissan Skyline GT-R (BNR33) NISMO LeMans Edition
Yes throw back again to the early 2000s. Spotted this rare beauty at SHHProshop in Gadong. There are a few BNR GTR33 running around in Brunei that are officially imported by then T.C.Y Nissan but none of them will be able to beat this rare edition imported used from Japan.
I first knew about this car way back in 1999 when it was freshly imported to Brunei. I actually when to the owner house to chit chat about it. This car has since changed a few hands and surprising it's still alive and well. It is currently looking for a new owner for a price of BND$59K++
From Wikipedia
"There were several limited editions of the BCNR33 produced by NISMO -
Nissan's Motorsport division. The first, the LM version, was released
in May 1996 to celebrate Nissan's participation in the 24-hours of Le
Mans. The only body colour available for the R33 LM was Champion Blue.
The car had a hood-splitter lip to direct air to the upper front
aperture, and a carbon-fibre rear wing with Gurney flap. There were
carbon-fibre inserts on the rear wing fins with a GT-R badge on the
inserts. The "GT-R Skyline" logo under the checkered flag was placed on
the C-pillars. Most of the LM's were based on the standard model but a
few were based on the V-Spec. Nissan released just 98 of this model to
the Japanese market and only 14 of these were V-Spec's. Nissan entered
two R33 GT-R cars in the 1995 Le Mans 24 hour race where the number 22
car finished tenth overall. This was remarkable considering it was
essentially running the same RB26 motor and going up against supercars
of that era like the mighty Mclaren F1 GTR."- Limited Edition Factory fitted extras
- Championship Blue (code BT2).
- Carbon Fibre Rear Wing Blade.
- N1 Front Brake Cooling Ducts.
- N1 Bonnet Lip.
- NISMO Wheels
- Commemorative GT-R Decals on C-Pillars.
Sorry about the blur pictures as these were taken using my then NOKIA phone. LOL

New Car In Brunei - Honda Civic Type R (FK2)
**PHOTOS BELONG TO ISMAKOM TUNGKU LINK
This is the 2nd unit that landed in Brunei wearing the classic Honda "Championship white"! I like this white more than the red one I posted a few months ago. You see this is why I despise our local Honda dealer. Two Honda Civic Type R has already landed in the past few months and both are imported by two different used car dealers. For crying out loud Honda!!! Get your act together and officially import this model!!! I am pretty sure you guys can beat the used car price! Oh by the way this one is going for around BND80K.

1st Borneo Kustom Show 2016 - Part 5 : Ultra-Rare Rides!
No, I didn't get to see these rare and beautiful beasts. These cars belong to a cool Royal Prince of our beloved Sultan. As you can see this is the ultra-rare and ultra expensive Ferrari LaFerrari! I am not sure this particular one is the same as the one I posted last year. If it isn't then there are four LaFerrari located in Brunei!
Eleanor also showed up at the Borneo Kustom Show!! Yes I also missed seeing this model. This is the one and only Eleanor from "Gone In 60 Secs" imported to Brunei.
*All photos screen-shots from my mobile phone

Last but not least the ultra rare Shelby Cobra!!! I always want to see this up close and damn I missed it again as this car turn-up a few hours after I left!
This will be the last post for Borneo Kustom Show 2016. I strongly believe this event has potential for bigger and better future event. This is by far one of the best event organized to date. I wish next year we will see more JDM, American, Supercars and others.
There are many nice and soup-up rides on the two days show so not all rides were posted in our blog. In the future I hope the organiser will provide a proper shades for people to walk under the hot scorching sun. The indoor display was quite organised whereas the outdoor is quite a different story. I don't know which way to walk to check out the cars. As I am bringing my kids I also don't want them to accidentally scratch other people rides while they are holding their umbrella. Hopefully organiser will look into this little flaw.
I really look forward to Borneo Kustom Show 2017!!!
