Holy cow people, first we have the KIA Stinger and now we have the hottest hot hatch from Korea, the Hyundai i30 N!!!  It has finally landed and what surprise me was everywhere else around the world are expecting a release date near end of 2017 and we actually already have it in Brunei!!!

For those of you who are not up to date on car news.  This one here is the latest pocket rocket from Hyundai, it directly compete with cars such as VW Golf, AMG A45, BMW 1-Series and so on.  It boast a 275hp turbo-charged 2.0litre engine.  It is a front wheel drive car and only comes with 6-speed manual transmission.  The car is loaded with track capability performances.  I have read the reviews from popular car journalists and so far the early reviews are going very positive for this model.

Good afternoon readers!  While I am arranging a time for my mechanic friend to come and fix the fuel pump and fuel filter, I have one part that just arrived!  Remember the front bumper with missing parking sensors? Well I finally ordered one of the missing parking sensor.  This only cost me BND$19.00 with shipping from online store in China.  They sold a tons of these, like a few hundreds and is the best option to go if u don't want to pay genuine part for BND$300++.

These will get fit to the bumper to make sure the front parking sensor is working properly.  Will update again soon!

Finally my fuel pump has arrived after a long 3 weeks wait.  I bought this fuel pump online for BND$59.00 including shipping.  A genuine or OEM will cost about BND$200~BND$400.00

The white box is the fuel filter made by MAHLE.  A German brand that also manufacture OEM parts to all the major car manufacturer.  This particular part I bought it locally for BND$28.00.  Now, I need to arrange another time with my friend to get these two parts replaced.  Hopefully these are the last things I need to do to get the car start!  Will update more again in the next post.

New Car In Brunei - Mercedes Benz AMG GT

Last weekend, JATI Transport Autohaus launched the AMG GT and a very prestine white GT was on full display.  I was planning to drop by and take a closer look but as you can see from the above the car was not available for public to sit in.  So thanks to my friend, Axtel Wong, for sharing these pictures with us.

The reason why the car was blocked because it was already sold to the same guy who owned this matt grey AMG GTS you are looking at below!!!  As I always said, one is never enough!!! Salute to this new owner!

New Car In Brunei - KIA Stinger

Last week was the launching of KIA STINGER performance sports sedan.  I pop by just to check out this particular model, the 3.3litre V6 Twin-Turbo 365hp, the most poweful KIA ever produced.  The standing start performance figure 0-100km/hr is quoted at 4.9sec.  The interior is very well build with lots of options as standard.  My favorite part is the carbon fibre all round interior.  It also comes with Heads-Up Display (HUD).  There are three STINGER models for the Brunei market.  This red one you looking here is the big daddy with and cost around BND$73K+++(O.T.R), a bargain if you ask me for that kind of performances.

Spotted this tastefully done BMW (E36) 3Series in Kiulap.  This here is how an E36 should be done.  I love how the owners go for the full M-Kit treatment  It is then coupled with the famous front and side white indicator made famously by BMW in the early 90s.  Those cross-spoked wheels finished off the car beautifully.  My only negative about this car is that M badge on the kidney grille. Wish I can see how the interior was done in this car.

While people are talking about the launching of Ford Mustang, Premier Motor has a little surprise for hatchback fans.  This is the Ford Focus RS one of the hottest performance hatch to ever land in Brunei.  This car was hidden away from public when it arrived together in Brunei with the Mustang. 

 The Ford Focus is a 320hp turbo charged AWD machine to compete directly with hot hatch such as Audi S3, AMG A45, VW Golf R.  The car was highly praised by many journalists around the world as a pocket rocket.  It comes with a DRIFT button feature! Not sure about the price but expect it to be around VW Golf R price range.

LOL.  Yes peep its finally here in Brunei!!!  I was told the price for the turbo is about BND70K++ and V8 GT at around BND90K++.  Both are showroom prices and insurance are not included in the price!!!  For more accurate of the pricing please visit Premier Motor, sole distributor of Ford.

I spotted this beautiful grey Audi TT Gen III at Kiulap area last week. I think this is the Audi popular Nano Grey or it can be the Monsoon grey.  Any how AUDI TT sure has slick body line.  Hopefully someone got big wallet and import the Audi TT-RS to Brunei!

I spotted this cool looking 964 while on way home to Bandar.  This particular one is kinda unique because the badge actually said "RUF".  In case u did't know RUF is a German tuners that specialise in Porsche.  If you look closely at the wheels of this car it has aftermarket RUF wheels.  I wasn't sure if that spoiler is another RUF item and a quick search online and I can confirmed that big wing is also from RUF.  What a rare car to spot!  I wonder whats under the hood!?

Spotted a mint Porsche 911 (997 Gen.1) at the parking lot of Porsche Service Centre.  I am not sure this is the S or non S models.  The 997 Series is not as common as the 991 series so we don't see much of them here in Brunei.  There are a few Turbo that we frequently see on road but the lower end model such as the non S and S are pretty rare to bump into.

Just want to share it with you guys this green metallic paint you are looking at here cost BND$120,000.  YES BND$120,000!!!!  The price cost more then the price I paid for my JEEP SRT!!!

Not sure whose car this belong to but as you can see the option list you can see the option is listed at $82,645euros. And yes the price is not inclusive of the actual car and options. The car here is the Porsche 911 Turbo S which is optioned with Porsche Exclusive Aerokit.
