DODGE, my view.....

Today I would like to talk about my current all time favorite Automotive brand, I am sure a lot of our readers have their own favorite preferences. For me, there are a few brands such as Pagani, Porsche and Lamborghini. But these are Supercar territories which I don't think in my life time I will ever own one(apart from my Boxster).

I am talking about mass Production Manufacturer (Nissan, Ford, Fiat and etc), I do have a few favorites but for all time it has to be DODGE! The memory of the the first production Dodge Viper still stunted me for more then two decades.

Why DODGE?
Well firstly, it is an American car. As a car enthusiast, I do wish to drive many different cars from different countries. I always wanted to own an American muscle car but a decade ago it is impossible to purchase any American brand automobile. Thanks to GHK Motor, Bruneian are now able to purchase Chrylser, Jeep, Cadillac and Dodge in right hand drive form!!!

Secondly , check out the their 2010 models line-up. Their car is just so awesome. When I first saw their Dodge Nitro at our local showroom, I was so impressed with the front facial. The car just scream " GET OUT OF MY WAY!!! even at standing still.

Thirdly, it has to be the engine, American manufacturer are famous for their big displacement engine. Take for example Dodge Challenger SRT8 (above pic), it's 6.1litre (370cu in) HEMI V8 has 375hp raw muscle power at your disposal!

Dodge Journey Crossover
I just checked out this model two weeks ago, exterior is what you expect for a Crossover model. For BND49K, I think it is good value for money as it come with 7 seats.


I do hope that GHK Motors will import more American models to Brunei. We seriously need more variety models for our road! Yes I do know that due to the current economy we cannot ask for everything.....

Hi readers! Firstly sorry for not posting as much as both my hands are fully occupied with my new born baby! Here is his picture, cute isn't he!


OK, here is some picture of new arrival parts for Project:W210. It has been almost two months since I last update Project:W210. Remember I told you this project will take a while so please always check back for new update.

Last week, I went to Jati Transport to collect W210 Front Baffle plate. The item is part of the front bumper, the old one was totalled in an accident before the commencement of Project:W210. I was surprised that the item came in a simple paper bag instead of the usual protective box or cover. Disappointing packaging if you ask me!


Nevertheless, the item is in pretty good shape. It's original parts from Mercedes-Benz.

Goodies from Porsche Showroom

Last Saturday, a buddy of mine who work for Porsche Service center called me up to pick up some new brochures and magazines that just arrived.

Here are some of the goodies I picked up!


Latest issue of Christophorus magazine. Christophorus magazine is a Porsche magazine that is published once every 2-3 months.


Here are the latest brochure for Porsche 918 and Porsche recently announced 911 Speedster! The new 911 Speedster was only announced not 1 month ago and now I had in my hand the brochure but not the real thing.... its Limited Production of just 356units and is already sold out!

This is Porsche DESIGN Driver Selection, inside this thick brochure are pages filled with tons of Porsche merchandise ranging from clothes, bags, toys and many other items with with Porsche brand name....


See the white Porsche 356, that is an electric toy car for 3-5 years old children. Planning to get one for my little boy. I really like the Porsche 356 and since I can't get the real thing, I will settle a little electric model for myself and my son...lol


Wow! I just found a picture of the real Porsche 356 below with the same license plate(K45-286) as the electric toy car above!!! what a surprise find! My guess is the one below is a actual car from Porsche Museum Collection and the electric toy car was modelled from it!


My friend also gave me this two table display cards!

New Accessory for Lexus IS300....sort of....

LOL. Not exactly new accessory, just something for our new born that we are expecting very soon. I had this purchased and brought back recently by my family from Australia. I always prefer to buy baby stuff from Australia as they are more strict on their quality control especially for baby products.

Good point about Lexus, there are 3 mounting points for 3 different locations of the back seats

Visit to QAF Porsche Showroom

Good afternoon readers, sorry for not updating this few weeks as I was busy with my work. Tons of stocks arrived both from HongKong and Japan at CH-Toynation, so I was kept busy for to make sure everything check out right. Now I am more free and will continue my posting. As for Project:W210, nothing much had been going on and just waiting for more parts to arrive.

Yesterday I took some time off and visited Porsche Showroom so I can purchase a Porsche baseball cap. Here are some pictures I took....

My Boxster S and Porsche Cayman S(Gen.1)


The Porsche Cayman S is for sale, its second hand and will set you $130k. I was told the car is fully loaded with options and cost $180k brand new.


When I walked to the workshop I stumbleupon this sweet sweet ride! Yes it is the new Porsche Cayenne Turbo which will be launch in Brunei very soon. I was told this one here cost $298k++. Urgh!

LED Brake kit for ER34 - Part.2

Hi~here is the continuation of my LED brake kit. I finally got the whole thing set up and now its already fitted in the boot and in action as I am typing this right now. Check it out~

I attached the LED to make sure it is in working order or else will have to contact the Seller in Australia....



Once its confirmed working, I took out the original bulb and fitted into the brake housing. It only required two screws that screwed onto existing holes.

LED Brake kit for ER34 - Part.1

Good afternoon Brunei, today I did some D.I.Y on my ER34. Readers may recall that few months ago I purchased something online. Well, that item is a LED brake kit for my ER34. I bought it from a dude in Australia who also owned a ER34 and is good at his LED stuff.

Here is the process of installing the LED

First we need to remove the boot liner so that I can access to the third brake light


Secondly remove the plastic cover from the boot


Here are the fasterners and bolts


Unscrewing two bots from the boot connecting the third brake light.....


.....and wah lah you got your third brake light removed!


Removed the connector connecting the third brake, then un-clip four clips to remove the plastic red cover so that I can trial fit the LED inside....
