New Car In Brunei - Porsche Panamera Gen.II

In-order (Panamera - Black, GTS - White, Turbo - Black)

I finally got a chance to see the second generation Porsche Panamera at Porsche Center Brunei last week.  All 3 models were available on display so gave me a big chance to see the differences of all models.  Prices range from BND220K++ to BND 300K.  For better prices accuracy please visit showroom for more details.

First impression is wow what a huge sedan!  The interior is filled with luxury and sportiness combined.  These 3 version is pretty spec-up from the Porsche option lists.  I can't wait for the Panamera Gran Tourismo to hit our shore next year!  Oh by the way, I was told we have 1 unit Porsche GT2-RS en-route!

Freebie From Porsche Centre Brunei

Just received this parcel at my gate when I returned home.  Is that time of the year where many dealers when ship out calenders to their customers.  This is the first time I received anything from Porsche Center Brunei.  The reason is they have record of my old address so meaning the pass 5 years all my stuff had been lost to the old home. Lol! I also just realised that when I visited them last month for my gear shift replacement.  Nevertheless, thank you Porsche Center Brunei for the 2017 calender.

New Car In Brunei - Porsche 718 Boxster S & Cayman S

Last month and this month alone I had posted about  12 articules about Porsche!!!  Sorry about that guys and YES this is another Porsche post. :) (And a few more before the start of December!)

While I was checking out the GT3RS last week, these two latest beauties was sitting quietly at the corner begging for my attentions.  The first thing I went and check about these cars were their prices!   These two rides are the "S" version will set you around BND$155K~BND$160K range.  Again depend on the options and how deep your wallet are.  These two was pretty much identical in prices.  The spec is pretty loaded as it comes with full leather interior, PDK and many more.  It's pretty cheap if you compare to what I paid last time and compare to the earlier 981 model. 

The car is no longer 6 cyclinders hence the cheaper price(less import tax!).  It is now a turbo-charged 2.5l 4 cylinder boxer engine.  Power come at 350hp for the S and 300hp for the non-S. 

Just me and the GT3RS

Today I dropped by at QAF Porsche again to pass them my Boxster S finished center console.  I was so excited when I saw the Lava Orange GT3RS proudly display at the showroom.  Immediately went and take my sweet time to admire this beautiful machine.  No crowd!  Just me and the machine!  So peaceful when you have the time to adore the design and beauty!

This car is pretty much spec up with all the possible options on the catalogue.  If you look at the top photo, the front wheel arch is higher then the rear that is because the Porsche Front Axle Lift system has been activated and raised the car by 30mm.  Those are useful when you traveling to places that has humps or steep road.  

Yes the logo is sticker to save weight! LOL

Very very sticky tires and also very very expensive too!

New Car In Brunei - Porsche Cayman GT4!!!!

OMG!!! Its finally here people!!  2 UNITS of the track focus Cayman GT 4 has landed. I am more speechless seeing this ride then seeing the GT3RS. Both are the best GT series from Porsche.  This yellow just landed about an hour ago before I got these pictures.  And yes the GT4 is parked right next to my car.  LOL! Oh man how I wish I can own this beaut!!!!  The other Cayman GT4 is in white.  This Racing Yellow sadly has already been taken.  No words yet on the price of the car but I am sure it is around BND$200K

Oh yeah baby!!! SIX SPEED MANUAL!!! Manual for the car purist!  Check out the carbon fibre interior and yellow slated air-con vents.  Those are Porsche Exclusive Options and looks so awesome in yellow~

The other unit GT4 in standard white

Did you guys notice something about the car wrap protection between a GT4 and a GT3 RS.  The GT4 didn't even get the full protection wrapped as compare to the GT3 RS I posted earlier.  Nevertheless finally I can see one GT4 soon.  I didn't expect a rare car like a GT4 to arrive in Brunei.  Enjoy your weekend guys!

Porsche Boxster S Deposit Paid!

Finally sorted out the deposit for my Boxster S gear shifting cable at Porsche Service center.  The cable and other parts with labor charges cost around BND$2200+.  Sadly they didn't have parts in stock so a waiting period of 2 weeks for me.  Currently my car is parked at Porsche center.  While I was there I checked out what hidden gems lurk behind the closed gate.

While the car is awaiting for its part I took away the center console and other panels with me!

New Car In Brunei - Porsche 911 Carrera S (991.2)

Here is one good looking Porsche 911 (991.2) that I snapped at Porsche QAF in Beribi.  I drop by recently to check on the progress of my Porsche Boxster and saw this super awesome sinister black 911.  This is the Carrera S version as you can tell from the red caliper.  This particular example even come with Porsche Sports Exhaust system!  I wonder how it sound when started.

A quick update about my Porsche Boxster S,  as it turn out the shifting cable broke and need to be replace.  My car will need to be tuck away in QAF until the part arrive in 2 weeks.  Oh Yes! This is yet another Porsche post. LOL!

Car Spotting In Brunei - Porsche 911 Turbo (993)

I spotted this rare and unique Porsche 911(993) at QAF Porsche.  Why is it unique you say?  Check out the interior.  It has matching color as the exterior!  Porsche will let you customize your own interior to suit your taste.  The owner must had paid big bucks for that bright interior.  Very good looking car indeed!  My favorite model from the 911 range!

Porsche 911 GTS & Targa 4S Has Landed In Brunei

I was at QAF with my buddy sorting out his new ride when my friend at Porsche called me and told me two goodies just landed at their showroom.  To my big surprise they are the Porsche 911 Targa 4S and a striking red Porsche 911 GTS!  Although not my favorite 911 of the range, there are still stunning to look at!

What is a Targa?  As you can see from these pictures, the middle roof are hidden inside the boot.  The car roof is half opened for people who do not want the full view of a cabriolet.  Porsche has a clever design where the whole rear window section is lifted up to open/close the roof  in just a touch of a button.  You can even open/close while you are driving.  As you can see  it has the "4S" moniker, which mean it has a 3.8litre engine and 4 wheel drive system. The price for this ride as I was told should be around BND$290K!  And yes it has been booked.

The second 911 that landed in Porsche showroom is this red Carrera GTS. GTS slot just above the 911 Carrera S and below the 911 GT3.  GTS stands for Gran Touring Sport.  It has the best of both world of comfort from the 911 Carrera S and some of the sportiness of 911 GT3.  Remember the GT3 that landed a few weeks ago, as mentioned GT3 is a full on track car, some people might find it too much to handle for normal day use hence the GTS model to solve the problem. This red example also cost about BND$290K!

Yeap that is a single bolt-nut racing wheel!
