Friends Ride at SHHProshop

Here are some photos of one of my friend rides, Yes, all these belongs to one owner.  All are currently work in progress and also all are white.  Here you have a full blown drag racing Nissan S15 with HKS Sequential gearbox.  I was told they are aiming at 600hp and above from that SR20DET!  A full on HKS GT800 turbo kit R35 GT-R getting the gearbox calibration and also a Honda S660 getting an HKS kit upgrade on that tiny lawn mower engine.

Friends Rides - Porsche 911 Targa 2 (964)

This black beauty belong to a good friend of mine.  In case you are living under the rock Porsche air-cooled models are highly sorted around the world and are actually appreciating in value especially the 964 and 993.  

My friend is trying to finalise some small issues with the engine and once it is done I will be taking it out for a spin!  Can't wait to try my very first rear engine, rear wheel air-cooled Porsche!

 

Friends Rides - Ferrari 456 GTA

Here is a nice garage queen sitting at my friends home.   Before the 575, 599 or F12 there was this, the Ferrari 456 from the early 90s.  This particular example is called 456 GTA.  The "A" is for the automatic transmission fitted into this car.  Before the twin-clutch or dual-clutch transmission era we have here the the early example of an automatic transmission fitted to a prancing horse.

The car has an almighty 5.5litre V12 that produced 436hp.  It was the fastest production 4 seaters in the world at that time when it was launched.  0-100km/hr is around 5.2sec and tops out around 302km/hr.

Friends Ride - [FOR SALE] Mini Cooper JCW Cabriolet (R57)

This is the one and only JCW Cabriolet in Brunei.  It belongs to a friend of mine and it is for sale.  You can grab this car for only BND$49800.  Price is negotiable.  

JCW is the highest spec of all MINI range.  The engine has 208 horsepower compare to normal Cooper S (186hp).  Like all JCW model the car is also set-up for track focus.  This model also come with standard JCW Geniune full body kit and exhaust system.  Interior is fully wrapped with real leather and contrasting red stitching.  This is a 2013 model imported used car with only 17000km mileage.  The car is fitted with 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifter.

Friends Ride - Nissan Silvia S15

Back in the early 2000s, I created a car group called "STREET SPEC CRUISERS" or "SSC".  We are a bunch of closely kneed friends that have similar passion about cars.  We have more then 10 cars in the group and regularly you can see us hanging out at major cafe or restaurant.  Sometime we will convoy to stadium to check out the illegal drag racing that was popular among Brunei car community. Those were the good old times and most of us now has our own families and no longer meet up that frequent.  

This Nissan Silvia S15 you see here is the most powerful S15 in Brunei.  This is the one and only S15 that is fitted with HKS Sequential Transmission.  It cost about $15k to $20k for just the gearbox.  

The engine is obviously not standard.  Big power required fast gearbox to propel.  The car I believed at one point one was running around upward of 750hp when it competed at MIRI Drag Race in the mid 2000s.  The SR20DET was tuned by then Ohura-San from SHH-Proshop who also tuned my ER34.

This car still exist but no longer is road legal due to the excessive modification.  I had cruised with this S15 with my ER34 and my god let me tell you when the engine roar and the wastegate valve opened you will gawk and stun like a mofo.

Friends Rides - 2015 Toyota Alphard

My friend just took prize with his new 2015 Toyota Alphard.  This photo are quite fresh as he visited me immediately upon picking up the car at NBT Gadong.  This new model will cost you around BND$85K++ for the 2.5litre with 180hp mated with 7 Speed CVT gearbox. Anyway, numbers are not important here because car like this is more toward about style and comfort.

This new third generation Alphard is a whole new meaning of travel with your whole family with STYLE!  It is so luxurious and comfortable sitting at both front and rear.

That grille is a love/hate thing.  When I first saw this car on paper I didn't really like it.  But it is better looking in the flesh.  I can imagine if this is my ride the first thing I would do is soup up the body with cool aerokit!

Friends Ride - Porsche Boxster S (981)

Checking out my friends new ride, the Porsche Boxster S (981).  He recently had some Porsche stickers labelled all round so I took a quick tour to his office and took some quick snaps.  This car is loaded with Porsche Exclusive optional equipments such as full carbon fibre interior, leather upholstery and many more. 

Friends Rides - Porsche Macan

Recently three of my good friends just bought a new car each.   The AMG A45 and BMW X4 had been previewed on my earlier posts.  Last week,  my third friend just pick up this new Porsche Macan in Agate grey Metallic paints.  The car is fitted with optional 19" wheels.  It also has the cool 4 points LED Porsche distinctive DRL systems.  The car damaged my friend's wallet for a cool BND$105K.  He also need to wait more then a month for it to be registered by QAF.

The very first thing my friend did when he took his car was to have his wheels and badges dipped.  It seem like PlasticDip has finally caught on our market.  I have yet to try the product.  Probably will get myself a Matt Black PlasticDip for some badges project on my Porsche Boxster S.
